It is just a 5-minute walk from St. Mark's Square and 2 minutes from the Rialto Bridge.

La Lanterna di Marco Polo is a finely restored building, where you can still admire its original construction. Wooden beams are present on every ceiling, both in the common areas and in the rooms.

Elegantly decorated with fine finishes and tapestries from the Rubelli collection, it is furnished with antique furniture, precious glass lamps and mirrors made by Venetian craftsmen and artists. Check-in: from 12:00 to 3:00 pm with our staff, after 3:00 pm self check-in (directions will be issued to interested parties).
Check-out: by 11:00 am

Rooms are located from the 1st to the 5th floor. The building does not have an elevator.

Guests planning to arrive outside of normal check-in hours are invited to contact us in advance to arrange check-in.

Credit cards accepted at our property: American Express, Visa, Mastercard, CartaSi

Child Policy: Children up to the age of 3 stay free in their parents' room (a cot is available upon request). A triple room must be reserved when children (over 3 years of age) or extra adults are traveling with you. In this case, unless specifically stated in the reservation, the supplement is €30.00 per person per night. We can accommodate a maximum of 1 extra bed or cot per room. We do not have family rooms. In case of other needs, please contact us by phone or email.

Room rate does not include tourist tax, which must be paid in cash when checking in; the current amount is €3.00 per person per night (children 0-9 years old are exempt, children from 10-16 years of age pay 50% of the tax).

What about this little gem just a few steps from Rialto and Piazza San Marco? Sublime! The great willingness of the owners to try to convey the true Venetian spirit by suggesting unknown and decidedly fascinating itineraries. Very clean and very cozy rooms, furnished with fine taste in a palace of 1500 rich in history, with only 4 rooms. We will definitely come back in November (we were recommended for the price and especially for a different climate, with the charm of the fog). We will complete the tours recommended by the owners.

We stayed at this Inn for three fabulous days (we had stayed here before and as promised we returned). In the heart of the historic center of Venice, this Locanda stands out for the accuracy of the rooms and the fabulous helpfulness of the owners. In a palace of 1500 with only 16 rooms, you can find the Lanterna of Marco Polo at 100 meters from the Rialto Bridge and 200 meters from Piazza San Marco.
